Baby Cache is now 14 days old and she’s doing well. Yesterday, the nurse told us that she already consumes 10 cc of milk every feeding. The light on her incubator was turned off (I guess this is a good sign) and the plaster on her eyes was also removed. Only the dextrose, tube in her mouth (for feeding) and the antibiotic “tube” (placed on her left hand) remain. Job and I are very happy because we were able to take a picture of Cache yesterday. Thanks to the nurse who took it (bawal ksi dahil super sensitive ang mga babies inside the room…buti na lng off duty ang head nurse, hehehe). When we saw her picture in the cellphone, we thought it’s another baby coz she really look different now compared to her picture last week. She looks like Tatay David now (Job’s father) unlike last time she looked like Papa Willy (my father).
Ito na ngayon itsura ni Cache…the next Kung Fu Kid!

Anyway, Baby Cache has found a friend. Her name is Angelika (Angel for short) who was also born prematurely at 30 weeks last April 3. They first met in the neonatal intensive care unit and they were both transfered in the nursery on the same day (sila lng dalawa ang nasa incubator na nilagay sa nursery).
