I guess there are people around me who think that I can’t cook. But hey, I’m proud to tell you that I can! At least I get an A rating when it comes to my husband’s taste bud, hehe (lav yah Dabs). I love watching cooking shows (kaya nga fan ako ni Kris eh, hehe), reading cookbooks and browsing recipes from the internet. I even told hubby that I want to to enroll my self in a culinary school or go to a “baking” school.

Well, last night before going to sleep I made a special dessert called mango float, hehe. :) It’s very easy to prepare, no sweat at all. Here’s a pic of my delicious float:

Yummy…I love it!

To add twist to this dessert, I add a little vanilla and mashed ripe mangoes to the milk and cream mixture and chilled it before putting it on top of the graham crackers.

Pinoys love to use the words “bad trip” when they encounter a not so good experience. Well, I had my share of “bad trip experience” last Sunday. After church, I was excited to explore the features of my new cellphone. You see, I forced hubby to buy me a new phone last Saturday because for more than two weeks I was “phone-less”. I cannot open my old phone coz the battery was totally drained and there was no available charger. I gave my charger to my little sister (who is in Davao) coz she badly needs it. We have the same phone which I bought in Hongkong last year (this explains why I cannot find a charger here).

Going back to my bad trip experience…as I was exploring I happened to open the security setting. Thinking that I need to secure my new phone from “uninvited” users I pressed the “pin code request” button. After giving my pin number, the word “PUK” appeared. Oh no, because I did not read the manual first, I gave the wrong pin and my SIM is BLOCKED!!! I was shocked and near tears because I’ve been using this sim (my cell #) for 8 years now, huhuhu. :(

I was really “bad trip” and stressed. Hubby and I immediately went to Globe center if they could unlock my sim (I already lost my PUK code). But they told us they could do nothing because my sim is prepaid. I have to buy a new sim and this means I’ll have a new number. I was really sad. I know for some it’s not a big deal but for me it is. I value my sim coz it’s been with me for the past 8 years (paano na lng mga contacts ko and mga raffles at games na sinalihan ko, huhu).

Well, I have my new cell number now. Goodbye 09173441606…I will surely miss you! :)

According to Wikipedia and another online dictionary, a bestfriend is someone with whom one shares the strongest possible kind of friendship. He or she is the one friend who is closest to you (a friend is described as a person you know well and regard with affection and trust).

Well, I can say that I am blessed because I have lots of friends. I am proud that I have this group called WEIRD RANGERS composed of Dorothy, Janice, Ana Mae, Rheba, Celeste and of course, the beautiful and sexy me, hehe (walay mag-reklamo). They are my bestfriends. We were classmates since kindergarten and in third year high school our group was formed. Why Weird Rangers? I remember we chose this name because each one of us has a unique personality. Despite of our differences and “weirdness” we understand and enjoy one another’s company.

Even if we are busy nowadays (Dorothy and Rheba are into mission work, Ana Mae is a human resource supervisor, Janice and Celeste are lawyers and me, a wonder mom, hehe) and live far apart from each other (preggy Dorothy is in Palawan with her husband, Rheba is going to Israel next week, Janice, Celeste and Ana Mae are in Davao and me in Gensan), we make it a point to meet and catch up the latest news in our lives.

Here are some pictures taken last week when we had dinner in SM Bigbys (Davao).
