Got this award from my pretty cuz Teleen.

Actually, my 29th birthday is still on the 22nd of February but right now I already have my 15 wishes for my big day and I hope and pray that these wishes will come true this year. :)

Here are my wishes:

1. I wish that I will be healthy throughout the year specifically my blood pressure will be maintained in a normal level (right now I’m maintaining a medicine for hypertension).

2. I wish that my weight will go back to 50 kilos (this means I have to lose 5 kilos…I badly need an exercise and discipline on eating).

3. I wish hubby will give me a white gold necklace, an oven so that I can bake and a brand new cellphone (wow…sooo materialistic of me, hehe).

4. I wish I can have a hair rebond the soonest possible time (i’m getting insecure of my hair).

5. I wish our little angel Cache will have a grand and happy celebration on her 1st birthday this April.

6. I wish hubby and I can travel out of the country this year.

7. I wish me and my siblings will be able to start our business venture soon.

8. I wish Mama Nita and Papa Willy will be able to undergo a general check up (to check on their health status…hope to convince my father, he’s really stubborn when it comes to his health).

9. I wish Cache will not wear an eyeglasses (her eye doctor told us that she will wear an eyeglasses when she turns one because she has myopia…I believe in miracle, I know God will heal her eyes).

10. I wish we could buy a car, even a secondhand is fine with me.

11. I wish Dabs will sleep early now (coz he sleeps really late like 6 in the morning).

12. I wish Papa Willy will give me money for our business venture.

13. I wish to re-decorate our house and make it clean and clutter-free all the time (help me God). :)

14. I wish we will have more family “dates” like out of town travel and food trips.

15. I wish to be “active” again in my spiritual life (I am very passive lately and I feel guilty).

Opps, there are rules to follow for this birthday wish award, and the rules are:

* Make a list of what you want on your birthday…
* The list should be 15 numbers
* Post the image of this award in your posting
* Give it to 10 friends of yours.

I’m giving this award to Dabs, Rachel, Ethel, Chikai, Rheba, Celeste, Ana Mae, Janice, Dorothy and Sofia. :)

Got this through an email. I’m sure this will open your eyes to see just how wealthy we really are!!!

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to
the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people
live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be
considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, ‘How was the
trip?’

‘It was great, Dad.’

‘Did you see how poor people live?’ the father asked.

‘Oh yeah,’ said the son..

‘So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?’ asked the father

The son answered:

‘I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a
creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at
night.

Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go
beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to
protect them.’

The boy’s father was speechless.

Then his son added, ‘Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.’

Isn’t perspective a wonderful thing? :)

Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything
we have, instead of worrying about what we don’t have.

Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!

Pass this on to family, friends and acquaintances and help them refresh
their perspective and appreciation.

‘Life is too short and friends are too few.’

Here are some pics of my daughter’s lovely smile and wild laugh :)

First captured smile of Cache when she was still in the nursery

Latest pics of Cache taken last new year celebration…see how happy she was to meet 2009!
