It’s the merry month of September and Magandang GENSAN is celebrating its TUNA FESTIVAL once again.  With the theme “Go Global GenSan:  We are Ready for the World,”  the Generals and all the visitors will be treated with delightful and exciting activities in the city.

One event I’m really looking forward to is the concert of the ASAP SESSIONISTAS this Friday (September 10, 2010 @ 8PM) at Lagao Gym.  Surely, I will not miss this concert for this is a real treat for a “big fan” like me.  And what’s more amazing is that Bariles of gensantos.com is giving away concert tickets again.  You read it right…just visit his site and you will know what I mean.

Why I want to watch the ASAP SESSIONISTAS concert and why L.O.V.E. K.O. sila?  Here are the reasons:

L – Listening to the powerful voices of Nina, Juris, Aiza, Sitti, Duncan and Richard will definitely be an awesome experience.  Imagine the six of them singing together…it’s a big wow!

O – Over excited to see my singing idols perform together on stage.  It will be a wonderful treat for a big fan like me.

V – Vivacious performances from these six world-class talents.  It will absolutely bring the house down.  ASAP Sessionistas rock!

E - Expecting for Aiza Seguerra and Richard Poon to dance.  I think I haven’t seen them dance on TV so I’m really expecting that the two will dance and will give the audience a fun time.  Also, I’ve heard Duncan’s a good dancer so I expect him to show his dance moves.

K – Knock-out performances from Nina, Juris and Sitti.  Oh, I would love to see them perform different numbers.  Plus, I’m curious what they will wear on stage.  I always watch ASAP every Sunday and the clothes and accessories they wear are very fashionable and chic.

O – Of course I’m a certified music lover and I’m sure I will not be disappointed by these talented sessionistas who will serenade the audience with their beautiful voices and will showcase the audience with their  impressive dance numbers.

ASAP Sessionistas Live in Gensan is brought to us by Denville Music and Production and Record Breaker Events Management.  Before I forget, the famous CENTERPOINT,  a local band, will also perform in this concert.  They will sing the theme song (Whoa GenSan) for Tuna Festival.

What are you waiting for?  Buy the concert tickets now.  Bring along your family and friends.  Kitakits on Friday at Lagao Gym.  Fun fun fun!

When Robinsons Place General Santos City opened last September 30, 2009, I was one of the thousands who flocked in the newest mall in town. For several months, the Generals (as well a the neighboring areas like Cotabato, Koronadala, Tacurong and Saranggani Province) were waiting eagerly for its grand opening. Indeed it was a great news when it finally opened. I was one of the happiest people on earth because I’m a true-blooded mall lover.

MELAI…the “Inday Kengkay of Gensan” was declared the big winner of the Pinoy Big Brother Double Up Edition last Saturday. I am one of the thousand supporters of Melai and I’m just very happy she won. I’m glad I voted for her. Congrats Melai and good luck to your showbiz career. I hope to see you, Pokwang and Mommy Dionesia in one show. :)

For the Melason (Melai-Jason loveteam) fans, just continue watching Uber every afternoon at ABS-CBN. They have this special Uber In Love Edition.

Got this through an email. I’m sure this will open your eyes to see just how wealthy we really are!!!

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to
the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people
live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be
considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, ‘How was the
trip?’

‘It was great, Dad.’

‘Did you see how poor people live?’ the father asked.

‘Oh yeah,’ said the son..

‘So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?’ asked the father

The son answered:

‘I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a
creek that has no end.

We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at
night.

Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.

We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go
beyond our sight.

We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.

We buy our food, but they grow theirs.

We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to
protect them.’

The boy’s father was speechless.

Then his son added, ‘Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are.’

Isn’t perspective a wonderful thing? :)

Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything
we have, instead of worrying about what we don’t have.

Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!

Pass this on to family, friends and acquaintances and help them refresh
their perspective and appreciation.

‘Life is too short and friends are too few.’

Ang bilis talaga ng panahon… bukas na pala ang last day ng buwan ng Marso at ngayon lng uli ako maka-update ng aking blog. Dami kasing nangyari sa month na ito.

Una, last March 4… through ultrasound, na-confirm na namin ni hubby ang gender ni baby. It’s a GIRL! Job and I are very happy, meron na kaming litte princess. Weird ba name? Ikuwento ko next time why he really liked this name. :)

Second happening, na-ospital na naman ako for the second time ngayong buntis ako. As usual because of hypertension na naman. As in bawal tumayo and even going to the CR, bawal din. Kaya ayun, naka-bed pan ako, huhu. We are praying talaga na abutin namin ni baby ang 9 months. Next week, mag-steroid therapy ako for the lungs of the baby kung sakaling ilabas sya ng pre-mature eh kayanin na niya. We continue to pray for God’s healing and blessing.

Nakasingit pa kmi ng picture sa loob ng delivery room when Dabs and Jam visited me (Chikai took this picture)

The third happening is graduate na ang aming youngest na si Bevs sa high school. We are very happy and proud of her ksi 3rd honorable mention sya (consistent honor student talaga sya ever since, mana sa akin…hehe).
