Tales of a Newlywed Couple

Finally, the week has ended…TGIF. It’s has been a full week coz we started our cooking demonstrations, as in we cook 2 dishes everyday. It was tiring yet full of fun and learning. On my next post, I’ll share to you some photos of our cooking class.

Finally, Chikai and James’ balikbayan boxes arrived safely in our house. We waited for more than two months for these boxes (malapit na kaming mawalan ng pag-asa, hehe). My brother Jam can’t wait to open it (coz Chikai’s instruction was for ME to do the ribbon-cutting, hehe). So this morning, he and my cousins opened the boxes and I just viewed the opening ceremony via webcam. Job and I are going to Davao this Monday to get our gifts. THANK YOU SOOO MUCH Chikai and James. Hoping for more balikbayan boxes, haha.

Finally, after more than two years of blogging, I’m able to change the theme/design of this blog site. As in I did it my self and I’m proud and happy of what I’ve done. Coz you know, in the past, I’ll always ask my sis Chikai to do it. At least I’m learning now. Thanks Dabs for teaching me.

Finally, just last night, for the first time also, I’m able to do “digiscrapping” and I enjoyed doing it. I always envy my sisters and some online friends who are really good in digiscrapping. I hope to learn more about this thing. These are some samples of what I did last night.

Finally, just this afternoon, I’m able to buy the dress that I wanted (a gift from Dabs for my birthday). I’ll wear it on church this Sunday. And also, after many months of not going to the market, I was able to go there coz I was assigned to buy stuff for our cooking class. I bought a large Talakitok and meaty barilis for our fish recipes (we had a hearty meal a while ago).

And finally, I’m able to post something here after many days of absence.
