Where will you be this November 26, 2011?  Me and hubby have already blocked this date for a very important event that will be happening here in Gensan. This is the Blogfest SOCCSKSARGEN 2.0 which is a grand gathering of bloggers and online writers and publishers in Mindanao.  This year’s theme is “The Emergence of Blogs & Social Media“ and the organizers of this big event have invited a powerful line-up of speakers who will share their expertise on blogging and will talk about the convergence and influence of blogs and social media in the present times.

My kid’s growing up so fast…she wants to do a lot of things and takes a lot of roles.

Just like other kids, our princess Cache is such a curious and adventurous being.  Oh, she’s our little Miss Explorer (like Dora, one of her fave cartoon characters).

Cache at 3 fascinates us with her many talents. She can be a singer today and then a dancer tomorrow.  She also loves to transform herself into different roles.

She can be an adorable model.

She can also be a creative chef.

Or she can be a stylish make-up artist.

And finally she can be a hardworking dressmaker.

That’s our pretty and talented Cache!

Our little Cache loves to sing.  This is her version of the famous Bahay-Kubo song.  We are so proud of her because she learned to sing Bahay-Kubo easily and memorize the entire song even though she still has difficulty in speaking Tagalog. Go go Cache…kami ni Itay ang mga avid fans mo!

Our three-year old Cache is now a student.  She is presently enrolled in the toddler class of Nograles Learning Resource Center.  At first, we really didn’t want Cache to go to school because hubby and I felt that she is still very young.  Our greatest fear and worry is that she might get bored or tired in the future when it comes to her studies. But Cache was always telling us that she really wants to go to school.  Her pediatrician also encouraged us to send Cache in school explaining to us that it will also develop her social skills because she will be able to interact with other kids.  After a couple days of thinking, we finally decided to enroll our little girl in school.

It’s been more than a month now and everyday after school, Cache would tell us that she loves her school.  What I like about Nograles Learning Resource Center is that the teachers are competent, good and loving to their students.  There are only six kids in the room (all of the same age) and the classroom is clean, spacious and airconditioned.  The class is one hour per day only (11am to 12 noon) so the kids won’t get stressed at all.  We are happy that Cache is enjoying her “student life.”
